barbera d'alba doc superiore mezzavilla

The Mezzavilla vineyard has been part of the estate since 1508, as documented in the records preserved in the family’s historical archives. The name Mezzavilla derives from the position of the vineyard, located between two settlements in the area.

From this vineyard comes the Barbera Mezzavilla, produced from vines planted since 1963. The age of the plants contributes to giving greater concentration to the must, resulting in a Barbera that is important and enveloping, characterized by structure and good persistence. The aging takes place in wooden tonneaux, a choice that helps enhance the complexity of the wine while maintaining balance and elegance.
Perfect with roasts, boiled meats, and aged cheeses.

BARBERA D'ALBA DOC SUPERIORE MEZZAVILLA

Cogito ergo sum

A hedgehog wrapped in a soft blanket tells the story of the roundness of an enveloping wine that is “warm”. The thousand shades and the contrasts of light and shadow of its spines recall the characteristics of the aromas perceived during tasting.
