The Aja vineyard takes its name from the farmhouse threshing yard, the space traditionally used for agricultural activities, located on the Bricco della Volta. The name already appears in historical documents of the area starting from the 16th century.

The soils consist of loose sands of marine origin, typical of the Roero area. In this vineyard, Nebbiolo vines have recently been replanted. The young age of the vines and the characteristics of the soil contribute to producing a wine that is fine, fresh, and highly drinkable, expressing the character of both the grape variety and the territory.
