The Aja vineyard takes its name from the farmhouse threshing yard, the space traditionally used for agricultural activities, located on the Bricco della Volta. The name already appears in historical documents of the area starting from the 16th century.

I terreni sono costituiti da sabbie sciolte di origine marina, tipiche del Roero. In questo vigneto sono state recentemente reimpiantate vigne di Nebbiolo. La giovane età delle viti e le caratteristiche del suolo contribuiscono a dare origine a un vino fine, fresco e di buona bevibilità, che esprime il carattere del vitigno e del territorio.
